Procurement Relationship Manager

£30,000 Milton Keynes

A Procurement Relationship Manager is an Internal Customer and Vendor facing role. Working with our Internal Customers embedded on our Customer Sites across EMEA to ensure a high standard delivery of Procurement services. You will be responsible for attending site and engaging with the Internal Customer to identify end user needs, as well as resolving any queries or issues. You will be required to identify and locate appropriate vendors closing deals where appropriate to secure favourable discounts. You will be responsible for the procurement of a wide range of goods and services whilst maintaining a rationalised Vendor base and ensuring service level agreement and savings targets are met and improved upon. Duties will include: • Analyse requisitions on a daily basis placing orders and chasing up goods to include price checks to benchmark our Preferred Vendor base • Negotiating prices, terms & Conditions to obtain the best quality supply • Vendor Assessment using the Tools and Customer requirements across the MRO portfolio to identify suppliers who can supply to the majority of our customer sites applying the Vendor Segregation methodology to our vendor base • Completion of Monthly reviews and renewal of Vendor Agreements resulting in updated preferred Vendor and discount structures to be distributed to our Internal Customers on Site • Commercial agreements • Monitor supply performance for use in Vendor negotiations • Monitor our performance to our external customers for use by the Business Managers annual negotiations • Obtain sufficient product knowledge to enable meaningful discussions to be held with other departments and suppliers • Build and maintain partnerships both internally and externally • Attend meetings internally and externally • Market Basket Quotation coordination for existing and potential Customers using our existing Vendor base • To work closely to align our processes and objectives to the Global and EMEA Procurement goals • To work as part of a project team on existing and new Productivity Saving Projects to benefit the service we provide and business CSM Business. The right candidate will have: Buying / Purchasing experience - Essential Excellent negotiating skills Good IT skills High level of accuracy Excellent Customer service/relationship skills
