Business Development Support
Permanent Full-Time
To assist in the management of the tender process, by identifying appropriate tenders and administering the process from conception to delivery. This includes product research, Supplier Research, data collection from shows and exhibitions. Manage key relationships within the account base, identifying sales opportunities by up-selling and cross- selling the product range. Maintain accurate customer database ensuring that data is current and meaningful. Ensure the highest level of customer care by responding to and resolving customer queries in a timely manner. Give accurate pricing and availability information as well as product information when requested. Proactively support the Sales Manager in maximizing higher order value business within the account base. Produce regular reports on the sales performance including Tender status, Average revenue order value, Order conversion ratio and sales revenue The successful applicant will be a proficient user of the Microsoft office suite, particularly Word and Excel (advanced), have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a commercial environment and at least 2 years experience of proven successful sales support activity. A clean driving license is required for the role.
